So I installed my aftermarket alarm and I want a flip key now. One with the remote & key in one instead of having them separate.

But my car is 4th gen so I will wait to get the applicable year.

My question: How do I know if this remote will work with my alarm before I buy? I know how to program remotes into my alarm. They say it works with factory alarm but they don't know if it'll work with my aftermarket one.
