Thoughts on adding rubber seals....(Jmax, Whitemax?)

To make the car even quieter. After trying virtually everything that can be done to make a car quieter, I succeeded. My car is very quiet. Yet I feel there is still room for improvement. At this point I think the weak point in my car is the rubber seals around the doors. It seems that most road noise comes through that area. Everything else has been plugged or deadened. I was on www.jcwhitney.com and looking at some universal rubber seals that they sell and started wondering about just adding some stick on seals around the perimeter of my doors. I would still retain the factory seals and just add more to make a tighter seal. Whitemax, Jmax anyone else....What are you guys thoughts on this? Would this make a signigicant reduction of road noise? That is basically what I'm after.

Well, if there is room to add a second seal, I cant see it hurting. Only major concern I would see is that you would really have to slam the car door if its the only one open and the windows are closed, cause no air is going to escape! LOL
It's an interesting idea to say the least. If it's cost is low, and there is enough room, I dont see a reason to not try it.

I think I already emailed to you on my agreeance. damn, is that a real word? What I mean is yes, I think that is all you have left to hope for as far as improvements in your noise threshhold. Although, there are a couple other little things that I am considering doing . . . You will have to email for those.

Jonathan,
have you used a drill bit sharpener on any of you zip bits? I charred one of my bits last night. It cut through this kevlar, carbon and ceramic composite pretty good for a little while. Then the room just filled up with smoke. Damn house still smells like burning epoxy.
