I have a 95 Maxima SE with the Bose system. The CD player was working fine for a little while but suddenly stopped playing. When I put a CD in it shows ERR on the display and the disk ejects. The radio works fine. Have any of you ever experienced this that can help?? Thanks..

 

scratched cd??? is it cdr??? if it is...is it a cheap cdr??? some laser have a prob with picking up cheap cdr...

 

Yep...most cd players won't play cheap CDR'S...

 

I have the same problem...

If i smack mine it will occaisionally then play the cd?
But usually it just says err and ejects the disk and then
i will push the disk back in over and over.....

But it does this with 1st play of a Production CD(Incubus Morningview)


My solution is to replace it with a

Pyle DVD\CD\MP3 In Dash

Using

Audiolink.com PowerDriver4 Interconnect

Eventually i plan to get a screen for each headrest and the dash...

ive got the same problem with my 95 and that's why this week im installing the pyle dvd mp3, and an in dash tv

 

Sometimes with if the bootleg cd has a stick on cover it tends to get stuck inside the bose cd player. You might want to get a cd changer installed.
