Circuit City sales ..

So who has been out trying to pick up some good deals during the liquidation? Anything worth the drive yet?

I went out there today. Nothing great. Most electronics were 10% off, some accessories were 20% off, and TV mounts were 30% off.

Wait and see

I don't think the liquidators are in just yet, this is just the "pre-liquidation"-liquidation.

Info here is correct. 10% on big stuff, and 30% on accessories like wiring harnesses, dash kits, etc. Yet both the stores I talked to reported HUGE lines of customers who are retarded and think theyre getting great deals. The one in Cape Coral FL opened with 200 people at the door, and did over 200k in sales today. People are dumb.

Remember most of those prices were jacked back up to msrp, and THEN those 10%-30%'s were taken off.

Just be patient wait a week or two before you go whording and you should be able to eventually find deals.

It woulda been smarter if they kept cc.com in operation. I guess there could be potential problems to doing so though..

Yeah I went today as well and the prices were not marked on the products or on the shelves. You had to either find a rep or take what you were interested in to a cashier, and there were few working it seemed. I priced an ihome, ipod clock radio combo (model ih56) there and it was $165, I went next door to Best Buy and bought the same clock for $80 dollars.

They tend to really milk these going out of business sales. They go on forever.
