Bose emblem on sub cover causing rear deck rattle
I found this out over the weekend. I did an quick search and could find any other posts on it. Mods, please lock it if it has been covered before.
I had the rear deck rattle so I dynamated it last summer. It helped a bit, but at certain frequencies, I still had a significant rattle.
So saturday night it was bugging the hell out of me. So when I went home i did some searching in the back seat. I found that it was the bose emblem plate on the sub cover. The small tabs on the back were not holding it securely so it was rattling.
So I took the sub cover into the house and popped the bose emblem off from the back of the cover (breaking off the tabs in the process). I took some super glue and glued it on. No more rattles.
Figured I would throw this out there incase someone is having the same issue.
