Yes and no. There are pros and cons to both. The only real issue I have with this is the lack of the side bar. Perhaps it is just because I am used to it. Although the info display is noticeably larger now without it.

Slightly slower load time
No side bar
Changeable illumination/buttons
Larger more friendly buttons
Voice command for nearly Everything


Of course. It sold it about a 10 minute phone call.

what loads slower on the new kenwood? Also how is the navi? Cant wait to hopefully own one in near future.

yea I like. Also interested to know how the usb and bluetooth convo's sound. Does this have bluetooth audio like the eclipse?

Everything in that aspect would be the same as the 8120,, but with voice command now and not a huge bump on the right side of the monitor.
