Rear view camera install

I was looking at installing a rear view camera when I do my headunit. I have looked at different ones and dont know if I want to be drilling into anything so I looked at the licence plate ones. My question is where do you run the wires to get them inside the car from outside.

just an idea but maybe you could run them in the same grommet as the license plate lights

The area that holds the license plate is all plastic. There is no 'grommet' for the license plate lights, as bulb housing is recessed and the wire remains on the inside. You could drill right in between the two license plate lights, that's where I typically go. Or, get a keyhole camera.
