I am looking at amplifiers right now, it will be powering 2 DD 12's, and then later on I will upgrade to a more powerful speaker.
Here they are:

DEI 1100d - 750RMS at 2ohms(14.4)
JBL bp1200.1 - 1200W at 1-2ohms
JL Audio 500/1 - 500W at 1.5-4ohms
Lanzar 1000.1d - 700W at 2ohms/2000W at 2ohms bridged
Kenwood KAC 401M - 600W at 2ohms

I found the JBL at an ebay store for only $299 and that seems like a great deal.

If your gonna run DD subs your best amp selection out of the ones listed would be the lanzer.

 

I like fosgate but lanzar is good too.

Well out of the ones listed Lanzer or the jl audio are the ones thats gonna work the best. But if you want a few other suggestions:

That is what I am wondering, because over on http://www.caraudioforums.com they say that the JBL is really good, either that one or the Lanzar, as long as you stay in the OPTIDRIVE series of amps.

 

lanzer's quality is pretty good. It went down hill for awhile and droped out of the comp seen. But lately there coming back with better quality stuff. It seems good for now.
I don't trust JBL at all in terms of quality.

And caraudioforums.com is somthing ive never heard of and the link don't work...you sure you don't mean carsound in the audio forum?
