I have a 2004 I35 and my bose sub blew, now its my opportunity to replace it with something better. For now, I plan to keep my bose speakers for now, but the sub must be replaced ...

So, what do you guys recommend for a sub and an amp ? I dont need 2 subs, 1 will suffice as long as it hits deep and clear and has better bass quality then bose, I guess 12" will do and amp ?

I heard it should be no issue to use the 4 stock bose speakers and the stock headunit with aftermarket sub and amp, now what would you guys recommend ?

Thanks.

Are you going to place it in a box or utilize the opening in the rear deck?

I have an Infinity Perfect 12d VQ with an Alpine MRP.M500 in a ported box. Hits deep, clear and responds really well.

Don't forget to pick up a line output converter to let you hook up your RCAs to your BOSE headunit.
