it was done by a bestbuy car audio installer (my friend) power wire to battery and amp... blue remote wire to amp, black gnd wire (grounded) rca's from alpine cd player to amp... speaker wire from amp to sub

IDK if the bose Amp for the speakers plays a part in any ways??? i wouldnt think though... i am using stock speackers and apline cd player with basic dash kit harness

Are you sure the sub output is set to on on the headunit? And the level is adjusted on the headunit itself?

i do feel dumb now... after a couple more adjustments its all working... sound magnificent too i love it... if i had to do it again i will... its exactly what i wanted... trunk space, lil thump and discrete... i forgot to take pics but with a few more modifications i got the bose grill back on and i absolutly love it

i dont remember, i think single because it had only one red and black speaker wire pin... i dont think that matters though, to me the dual voice coils are moreso if your getting into some heavy thump or high wattage subwoofers...
