Where to grab signal for LOC???

I am just wondering if I am able to grab a good audio signal for the LOC behind the radio with a Bose system?

I am running a 4 channel amp and a sub amp.

I'm just not too sure if the signal before the Bose amps is going to be strong enough for the LOC. I know it uses high level outputs and converts it to low level. I'm assuming it's already a low level behind the radio.

If not behind the radio itself where can I grab a 4 channel signal (where is the amp located in a 6th gen?)

No need for a loc, it's low level already, just splice rca's right in without the loc.

I've heard systems that guys have done that and it doesn't sound as good to me...

I've got the Kicker ZXSUM8. Haven't really look at it too close yet but I'm hoping this will allow me to go right behind the stereo.
