Found an awesome spot to mount a gps antenna
Installed a pioneer avid-x920bt hu with built-in gps. After some thinking, found a great spot to mount the antenna. Pulled out the clock(I have a 5th gen), and the little "puck" fit PERFECTLY inside the enclosure
. Easy to fish wires to the hu, has a great view of the sky, and is completely hidden. Pics to come

as you can see, it is tucked right above the clock module (this is the clock enclosure turned upside down), so yes, you retain the stock clock. When ut back together, it looks completely stock

That was what I had tried first, unfortunately, the 5th gen has a lot o metal in that area, and I got NO signal. I had it sit on my dash, and it saw 11 satellites, so I put it in the clock and compared, and sure enough I also had 11 satellites
