How can I connect a subwoofer to my Bose Amp
Is it possible to connect an aftermarket sub-woofer to the Bose factory amp. I have a Bose converter but which wires do I need to Tap into to connect to the converter then power the Sub-woofer. I've tried once but was getting little to no power. Any help? I'm not looking for banging system, just a little bass would be nice....

Hay-
Are you replacing the Bose 8" Sub in the Rear Deck?
Or are you Trying to Add a Sub and wire it to the Existing Bose Sub??
I replaced My 8" Bose Sub with a 10" Kicker Sub that is made for Free air (no Box),
And added an External amp just for the New Sub.....
Now I Can hear the Subwoofer wile I'm driving on the Interstate with my Windows Down!!

I guess that you could "Un-Hook" the Factory 8",
And Hook up the 10" Sub that you have,
The Factory amp that is made for the Factory Sub is NOT that Powerful....
What type of 10" Sub did you Buy?
Is it already in a Box??

Not if you want to hear the 10...If you add the ten in an enclosure, you're most certainly going to need an amp so you can get that sound through the back deck/seat. There's no disputing that you will need an amp for this to work...

Has anyone used the trigger on the bose amp to turn on an aftermarket amp. I just picked up an 01 I30 as my 98 I30 was totaled I am looking to do a much simpler system and just add a sub and sub amp. I already have the adapter for the preouts but I was looking for a good trigger other than an ignition wire. Any thoughts?
Thanks
