I have an old Sony cd changer and recently got it installed and it worked for a few days. now today it was playing fine but then when I turned it off about an hour and started it up again it wont play. Everything seems fine- controller works, cd changer will open and close and it will insert cd's when I change cds.I can hear it change tracks so I know its working in there and It looks as if its opperating normal but the deck is not picking up the sound. I have it set to the correct station. I opened the dash and looked at all the wires and they are all connected but still no sound. I checked all the fuses. can anyone help?

 

ok...all of a sudden the cd changer is working fine today.. It wasnt working this morning but later this night it works again??

does anyone know why its doing this? one day its dead..next day its working fine.. Im thinking it has to do with the station but I really dont know..

 

ok not its NOT working again made an appintment to have the shop check it out. anyone have a suggestion to what may be wrong? this sucks

 

just found out what was wrong with it. it was a messed up FM modulator

 

i was gonna say that or just a simple loose connection at the changer itself!
