Project Save-A-Sub

So I was given this JL 10" Sub by my mechanic. I wanted to see if I could save it and use it in my other car and upgrade the sub I have in there now... So I bought a re-foam kit, and got to it... Let me know what you think.

I noticed that too, but for how squishy the surrounds are on those things, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, I noticed that after the adhesive set... Im not worried, plus the subs sound just like new again.

if you've glued anything before, with a little patience and time, this is a really easy project. Bought two cheap JL's just like that a while ago and the second I started using them the foam ripped on both. Most kits will come with everything you need (surrounds, instructions, glue, applicator brush)

Do it, and then realize it's not profitable vs. the time spent.. lol.
