Famous Bose no power issue

Whats up everyone, I'm not new to installing systems in Maximas, but my newly acquired 96 se with Bose has be stumped. I spliced into the stock harness like I've done in the past with Maximas even those with Bose speakers. Now for some reason I can,t get my hu to turn on! I've used the diagram from http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Nissan-Wiring.pdf and also the one from the12volt.com and still I'm not getting power to the hu. When I combine the red and yellow together to the blue wire which is the acc, the hu comes on but no sound comes out the speakers. Got my batt power tester out and tested each wire and WTF, none of the wires giving constant power.

My questions which wire should I tap into to receive power, and also why won't my speakers play? Am I missing something? Someone please help I'm tired of driving around listening to my 4 inch muffler lmao..

P.S. previous owner had an aftermarket HU installed, and from the looks of the harness, he used a harness adapter. The HU I'm using is a Pioneer deh-7000mp

AND YES I DID SEARCH BUT DIDN'T FIND ANY CLEAR ANSWERS.

I spliced into the stock plug. I figured out the power issues. Somehow the batt 7.5 fuse by the kick panel was blown. Still not getting sound though from factory speakers. How do I activate the factory amp?
