1995 Bose Radio replacement questions

I'm new when it comes to car radio so I was wondering if I could get some help.

I replaced my Bose headunit with a Kenwood KDC-108.

I'm using this so I can integrate to my Bose speakers. (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142C4NN...r.html?tp=3486)

Now my rear speakers don't work, is it possible that I can take out the bose amps in the rear and just put regular speakers and change the adapter accordingly? Or would it be easier to run my own wires to the new speakers and use the factory mounting points?

Hook up the remote wire in the wiring harness.
