replaced some speaks

I replaced the front stock speakers (active speaker system) in my 90 GXE w/ Infinity Reference Component speakers... man I am truly impressed... the difference in sound was amazing...

Just running them off a decent pioneer HU, but it sounds freaking great.

Infinity 505cs .. got 'em for $100 on eBay -my best friend.

Sure does! I got the big brother to that, the 605cs up front and 652i's in the back. $70 for both sets brand new ;-)

dang I want a deal like that!. I nearly bought Kenwood Excelon 6.5 components, they had the last set left at the Tweeter store discounted to just 90 bucks. I didn't buy it because the store couldn't provide with any specs and didn't really like the sound. After that I went to Best Buy, where nearly bought Rockford Fosgate 6.5 components and 5.4 for the rear, too bad they didn't give me any discount. Oh well, I might as well keep shopping.

yep it makes more sense to buy there..because 1) you can actually listen to what you're buying 2) you get warranty 3) if you get 'em installed, they will take your speakers off for free once you are selling your car.
