7th gen Maxima audio upgrade

Hello! I'm looking for someone who has experience doing, or knowledge in adding a USB + aux input to my car. I have a 2012 maxima without tech pack. So I can't steam music via Bluetooth, no aux input, only 1 usb that I can't play music from and a lcd screen that's basically useless. I'm looking to add a USB + aux input that's works with my stock system. That means track titles, artist, etc shows up on the screen. Is this possible to do? Or should I just add a separate system in place of the old stereo system.
Thanks!

You probably need an install kit. It's a dynamic job but the new unit will probably come with an adapter.
The main idea about car stereo equipment is antenna, power in, ground, and speakers out.
You need something more interactive

I would try the USA Spec BT45-NIS. I installed one into my 2012 without tech package and it works great. I have the music streaming through this adapter and my phone calls through the factory Nissan Bluetooth. The adapter has the ability to do both music and phone via Bluetooth but it will require you to run and mount a mic from the adapter.

This is one of the website I found mine: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_581BT4...c&awug=9010438

I would search around for a cheaper price because I know you can find it.

Do the steering wheel controls work and does the track information display on the screen? I have a 14 max without nav and have been searching everywhere for a solution. Purchased the tune2air WMA1000 with dock adapter but the vehicle does not recognize the device.

I just purchased a BT45-NIS and I only want to use it for music streaming and not phone calls. I want the phone calls to go through my factory Nissan Bluetooth. I remember on Android you could select what you want each Bluetooth device to handle through the Bluetooth settings. Unfortunately, I moved to iPhone and they do not have that option. How did you go about setting this up correctly so it hands off back and forth?
