I was thinking about how to make a custom "setup" in my trunk and came upon this...first off I will be starting with a xtant hex sub, only because I heard one at tweeter which was blown and was underpowered and hit harder then most of my friends pairs of 12's...so heres my idea:

I am thinking of taking out my spare, and everything else and makign a frame going around my trunk out of lets say 2x2's, then taking mdf and laying it down. I would then like to cut the shape of the sub out which would be hexagon shaped, and then router around it to put plexi glass in so it would be almost flush. So after all is said and done, youd have a floor in the trunk, a 12 inch hex sub under plexi glass and you could still use all the trunk space but no spare tire...and maybe hiding the amp in the side of the trunk somewhere or making a custom shelf somewhere...if anyone has any thoughts, ideas or problems I may run into please let me know.
