I want to mount my amps on the sides w/ custom boxes..But I think my amps are too big..Anyone mount them there? Did you rip out the carpet liner stuff?? Or did you screw it rite into it?? Tell me everyything..thanks

 

Mine are vertically mounted on the side and are screwed into a small piece of wood that was screwed into the car behind the carpet liner. Once the amp was stable I made a trim ring wrapped in black leather to go over it on the outside so that you don't see the wires.

I think that there is a pic of it on my homepage, I might be wrong. If there is not a pic let me know and I will put one there. Later

It's been done alot. But you just can't screw um right in. It takes some building.

 

ahh..there is no room to build it on the sides..my amps are too long and big..any other suggestions??

 

ON the sides, pull out the cover, cut the metel build back in.

Other than that, trunk lid, tire wheel, floor,dash, deck, seats, anywhere you want.
