i am gettin a hard-install kit for my star tac. if anyone has one of these:
1. where did you put the mic, speaker, and base.
2. did you install it yourself - how difficult?

I installed a similar system in my parents Quest. The wiring is fairly easy. I put the speaker on the floor on the passengers side behind the console. It is very loud even from there. The toughest part was running the thick antenna cable from the handset to the speaker.(yours might be different) If you have any more questions let me know.

How did you mount the cradle for the phone? Is there some additional dash mounting braket you need to buy for the Maxima? If so, you know where I can pick up such a bracket?
