A couple months ago I got my Viper550 put in with remote start. Circuit City couldn't figure out how to do the remote start so I posted here. It turned out that the dealership never programmed the key they were using.

 

i have that same viper model remote start in my max. Did your installer wire it under the hood to the RPM meter and hood switch? These features are very important. For the RPM part, say your floormat is pushing down on your pedal, when you remote start your car, IT WILL REV LIKE CRAZY. This install will shut off the auto start. The hood switch disables the car to auto start if hood is up (SAFTY REASONS).
i found that more and more i have a problem with the car not autostarting. it just cranks and cranks??? i dunno why?

 

thanks for the tips I'll check it out later this week--I was using it yesterday and found out that when leaving my A/C on and remote starting, the A/C won't go on until i have a key in--I called them and they said the guy just forgot to plug an accesory thingy in and it's no big deal--does that sound right?
