Ask maximadave!!!!

I stopped by Tweeter today and spent about an hour and some (and money) at the shop. If you are looking for any audio stuff, make sure you ask him first.

This guy gives you awesome prices and he is totally cool to deal with.
No b.s. with dave...

Thanks!

in defense of the brick and mortar stores, you are paying for the customer support, factory warranty, and convienience (ie. no waiting for packages in the mail). not to take away from maximadave, but if you go in and ask question after question of a local shop, you should buy from them, or they may not be there next time you have gobs of questions.

Sorry, but when most of the answers are wrong and they have nothing worth a damn in stock. Or they want your right arm and first three offspring as a down payment - I can do without most local shops. On the rare occasion that I find intelligent life at an audio shop I make a mental note for possible future purchases. Even if it's just miscellaneous wires, connectors, etc.
