quality excellent black out due to weather minimal paying 9.99 a month for premium radio package to listen to deejay that got chased off fm because they sucked in the first place obsurd.

buy a mp3 player for your car if you need commercial free radio.
at least then you will never hear a song you hate.

I have it, and have no problems with it. I even drove back to my house from my sister's in the rain, and didn't have any problems with reception. I don't even listen to my cd's anymore.

I think your wrong. XM and sirus are going to compete and prices will drop. They spent to much $$$$$ and time on this to let it drop. I see it as the future to the industry.

I think XM and Sirius will be a big part of the future of radio, but right now I can't say I love it. I hate the dj's and I never seem to hear truly new music on any of the channels and I have been listening to it at work since before it even came out to the public. Also you lose reception sometimes going under overpasses. Other than that the sound quality is very good.

I agree that XM is going to do nothing but grow in the years to come. I personally do not have it yet, but one of my audiophile friends loves his XM. He even says they have good rap station(s). If you are looking to pick one up and have an XM ready Pioneer deck(any model with IP dedicated changer controls) check out the link below. The lowest price Ive seen for the tuner and antenna together!

I've seen that model antenna in that ebay package, and I don't like them. The terk glass mounted antennas are better IMO. BTW - I am planning on getting XM very soon, my FM reception sucks A$$.

I like the terk antenna better too. Check this out...thats a great price on the tuner and you can find the terk antenna pretty cheap too, if you look around.

I'll tell you what, i bought shares in both SIRI and XMSR back in Late july, so a whole year is coming up. So far, the shares havent' done a whole lot, siri is actually down about 4 points when i bought it, and XMSR i bought at about 13.5 a share. Its at about 10 now. So i am out so far, but like alot of you have said, its going to be huge in the future, so i am going to definitly hold onto those 2. I also have some stock in Gateway, or GTW, and that has been doing ****ty. So i might actually sell that stock and invest that evenly into XMSR and SIRI.
