Easy Q on Disconnecting Battery

Easy Q on Disconnecting Battery

When disconnecting a car battery. Do you take off the black then red cords? Or is it red then black? I dont want to kill myself while doing this. Im installing new headlights, and have to splice wires. Should I just remove black? or both?

negative 1st (black). then postitve (red).
