Amps???

dm7297,

I don't know how many will admit cutting their audio teeth on Pyramid and Legacy, but the Product line is what it is, Cheap & Ghetto, Fleamarket trash.

You get what you pay for and for a couple dollars more you can find good deals on slightly used or mid-market equiptment. Others I'd lump with Pyramid would be Boss, Profile, Lanzar Vibe. some may disagree.

The entry level that are decent would be CrossFire, Kicker/Impulse, Coustic, any of the headunit Manufacturers Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood,
Blaupunkt.

When money permits the likes of Xtant, PPI, Orion, MTX, Phoenix Gold
Rockford Fosgate and JL Audio await.

what i need this amp for is to power my sony dvc sub its a dual voice coil with 600watts rms and 1200 watts peak, i was looking to probaly get a 500-600 watt amp to power it, any decent name brand amp is like 300+ bucks which at the moment with damn computer school i dont got that cash so i was looking for something in the under 200 range to replace the sh*t *** jenson amp that cuts out every 30 seconds cuz it over heats it self

Whoa! Stay away from these amps. They are cheap, and they sound CHEAP, also. They are "generic". You'll probably regret it if if you purchased these. No matter how good your speakers are, they'll "cry" telling you to stop feeding them crap! Save your money and invest into something more reliable.

AMPS???

dm7297,

Go ahead and buy a Pyramid or Legacy, but don't look for any sympathy
from us as you've been warned, many of us have been down that road and are trying to save you money.

go to;

http://www.thezeb.com/

Look at U.S. Acoustics or Ultimate these would be excellent entry choices for the money.
