Thanks again for all the advice you've given me in my other threads about my Bose replacement project. I've had some really good luck lately (got a free amp and a box with 2 subs for cheap) and it looks like I'm having some more. A friend of mine with a nearly-new Sony CDX-MP30 is selling his car (and the sound system with it) and offered to let me have the head unit for about $100. I've already decided to buy it so I can afford some really nice component speakers that I've been looking at. After all, it's easy to upgrade to a better head unit later...

...anyway, sticking with the theme of using really cheap stuff so I Can afford better speakers I want to keep the Alpine 6-disc changer from my Mazda. It's an Alpine CHM-S620. Is there any reason this shouldn't work with the head unit above?
