Playstation 2 Install

I have a 95 Maxima SE. I just put a PS2 in my car under front passenger seat, but dont like it there cuz first, afraid it may overheat with not getting much air, and also is hard to change games and DVD's. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed the ps2 above the glovebox but below the passenger airbag in the dash. My friend looked at my car, and said he thinks we may be able to cut a good sixed whole to fit PS2 in perfectly there, cuz there is anything behind it that would be in the way. I think this would be really sweet if it turned out to work, just wondering if anyone has done or tried this before, and looking for advise.

I had mine laying around on the back seat a couple of days. But I think the best place is inside the arm rest on the back seat. When you fold it out, see if you can custom fit it inside.

Re: Playstation 2 Install

Can't put it there. There's a 2" thick support bar right above the glovebox so there's no room to put the PS2. I've tried.

Re: Re: Playstation 2 Install

i know a guy with a civic that had the same support beam torched in half to put a n64 there and now a ps2.. but it's not worth it because it's hard to flush mount the ps2 face with the dash, and very hard to torch that beam. $$$$$..
