Audio Input to BOSE HU?

I have a pretty tight mp3 player (iPod), and it would be pimp if I could hook it up to the BOSE Head Unit with some RCA cables or something. Am I right in thinking that there are inputs for the option CD changer, so that I could just use those somehow, or is it going to be a wonderful stupid connection only for BOSE stuff? I know there are those FM things to broadcast signals to a certain channel, but I've heard the quality is pretty crappy. If this is at all possible, where do you have the RCA connections coming out of? Somewhere on the dash? Under the seat?

There are no RCA inputs on the HU, anywhere. As for the cd changer inputs, they are on the HU, but no one knows the signal type/level/etc. And even if you did get the signal level correct, how are you gonna tell the HU that the changer is hooked up (so it can switch over to the changer inputs). Just a thought.

Anything is possible with a little time and alot of money. Fear not, I am still working on this.

And for those of you who are interested, I am almost finished testing my clock rewire. More details coming soon.
