I am trying to decide whether to buy the Alpine CDA 7892 or the CDA 7892. Basically, is the 7893 (The chrome one) worth the extra money for the looks and sound (If 60*4 is noticeably better than 50*4)

 

The silver deck looks tight. In fact I have one -- Alpine 7977. Last years model, check it out. I have the tan interior and a wood dash kit and would go no other way. Those green or amber alpine buttons look weak, but do what you want. It is your money after all.
