Alpine or Aiwa?? *boggle*...that's like asking, "Which one is better, the most expensive Nakamichi, or the lowest-end Blaupunkt?"

The Aiwa HUs I've heard have all had comparable sound quality to portable CD players with car kits. OK, maybe not *that* bad, but if anything, a small step above.

There's a reason why they're so cheap...

I hope you started this thread as a sick joke because there is no comparison. Alpine all the way. Aiwa is trash and they are hella ugly. BUT, get what you want. It is your money

alpine

hey i had an alpine which broke but my friend told me that aiwa had a new line
coming out that was good, i m thinking about spending 200 on it
and compared to everything else that will fit in my car the "specs"
looked better for the aiwa.
otherwise it seems like everyone hates aiwa so
i dont think i be buying it
anyone have any suggestions on what to get instead?
thanks

I don't know the specs on that Kenwood, but I can say Kenwood makes a mean deck. That would be an excellent choice as well based on their history and quality.
