Hey guyz, I just recently got an aftermarket alarm to my 2k2 maxima, and when I unlock my car, I sometiems get two beeps, and other times I get 4?!?!? What's the difference between two beeps and the 4 beeps?

Depending on the brand of alarm you have, 99% of the time, more than 2 beeps means your alarm has gone off. There should be a blinking light inside, after you disarm the alarm and it beeps 4 times, the light should blink a certain number of times over and over. That is the number of the sensor that set it off. Depending on how your alarm is installed, number 1 can be someone opened the doors. Number 2 can be shock sensor. And on and on...
