Now, I was told that an amp came standard with my 96 max. Is this true? And if so how many watts is it. And were is it?

 

If you have bose then there is a seperate amp channel for each speaker. Otherwise the amp is built into the headunit, like in every other car sold in this country. In either case they are not big amps, but none the less they are amps. In this case you got what you paid for, and not a penny more.
