Bose questions?!?

I am not going to bore anyone with the same old Bose questions... but I have replaced my BOSE headunit with an Alpine 7894 with a BOSE interface adapter. If I bought new component speakers... couldn't I just remove the BOSE interface adapter and just use the normal "non Bose" harness and plug it right in and power the new speakers with the deck?

Thanks... I was hoping that would be the case...

final question.. I understand that the factory BOSE speakers have a proprietary connector.. I assume that I would only use + and - connections... and not use the extra wires such as "power" etc... you don't happen to know where I could find out which ones are + and -?

maybe a wiring diagram in a FSM would help out. I was a little boggled when I glanced at the connectors/wiring of the factory amp/speakers - none of the wires in the amp harness even matched the color up front for front +/-

If I was you, I'd just run all-new wire in the case of powering replacement speakers with your alpine hu anyway. If I was able to do it, anyone can

Skinny

They are the skinny wires on each speaker that you take a loose. After you cut them just extend them to your new speaker and you will be good to go. Holla
