I have a brand new PPI PCX-2400 Amp, it runs 1600 watts at 4 ohms briged. I am selling it for 700$. I am Firm on this price. I know its a little more than you want to spend but the is a VERY high quality amp, and by what ive heard the new fosgates dont operate to well. Email me if interested.

I don't think you have any chance of getting a bd1500.1 for under $500. I'll doublecheck, but I might be able to get you one for something like $550 shipped, maybe better? PM me if you're interested in that or even the bd1000.1 too.

Thanx for checking

I've seen some bd1500.1 amps at ebay but they are refurbished...don't trust that..and I've seen some bd1000.1 amps for under $500. Still waiting for a special price if not then I'm gonna have to get it. I just bought a 15"solo-baric woofer and I need some serious power for that speaker, I have a RF power 800.2 amp but that's not going to do, the speaker will damage that amp. So, I am trying to get rid of it for the right price, Know of anyone? It is brand new and it's been on my MAX for about 4 months....thanx man, talk to you later.

Do you have a normal 15" solobaric or an L7 solobaric? What is the impedance? I ask because their are probably better amps for what you plan to do.

I would look at the Hlabs 800 watt amps, I think they have one for 1 ohm, 2 ohm, and 4 ohm. And I would look at the ampmanaudio revolution, which will have about 800 watts at 2 ohms. Otherwise I would consider a used amp. Unless you have huge resources. But there is no point in getting a high SQ amp for this sub, as it is designed for SPL only. The two amps above are as good or better SQ than this sub deserves.

Check out Memphis Amps I think one of the higher power Class D amps would really suit your SPL needs. They perform on par maybe even better than Rockford. here's the link to the page.

And of course if you have the money get a McIntoch amp But I don't have a few grand to fork over for one, and i don't think you do either.

Thanx...

Yeah, I decided on either the Rockford bd1500.1 and/or the memphis 16-ST1500D.....They should be able to handle the ohm load that I'm configuring...just want to keep it consistent with everything Rockford, but might have to go for memphis...Memphis are great. I went every where and I asked everyone, memphis has got to be the best. Thanx though....want to help me raise money..give to the needy, start a Hooh-up your Maxima Fund Raiser...j/k. Thanx, man
