Top rear firewall meaning right behind the head rest of the rear passenger seats right??? How would a roll cage or roll bar be constructed??? Would it have to be welded in or can it be bolted or something???

I am sure someone can fabricate a bolt on cage....but ur better off stripping the interior down as much as possible and having a welded one custom fit to the car....Now I would have it custom fitted and panels trimmed so i could have my interior....but thats me and i would never put a cage in my maxima

you mean I can't just have it levitate there using the power of my mind?

yes, obviously this would be something that bolted through the rear firewall, where you said. I haven't thought much about it, but I would imagine it is feasible if done right (by a rollbar shop)...

not high on my priority list though.

Great aside from a rip on the arm where I get in & out. The seat doesn't reallly offer much room between the arm and steering wheel to slide in & out of. It's akin to jumping in through the window, once your're in - you're in. I did take it out for winter and am running the OEM power seat for another month or two right now.

Man, locktite has to be sending you Christmas cards with the amount of stuff you take out and re-install every year.

i was reading the installation instructions in G-Forces website and i guess its seems shoulder straps should be no more than 1-4" below drivers shoulders so i am going to see what i can do to get it to work

I used to have racing seats in my car. I went with some I got off ebay. The seats were ~99 to 150 plus 150 for shipping. I also brought the brackets off of ebay also. Believe it or not the seat were pretty nice. They were more comfortable that my stock power leather seats. I got complimets all the time. I just chuckled to my self and told them I got them from ebay.

The seats I went with measured 22X23X35. I'd be careful about the size of the seats. I went with that size since i'm not a small guy 6'1" 230.

This is a similar bracket i used. I need to redrill mounting holds.

My seats were similar to this but they were all black with "NISMO" stiched into the head rest.

Was your seat adjustable back & forth or completly fixed in place?

I use a Schroth rallye 3 harness. Schroth makes the ONLY DOT approved harness available. I do not advocate using them without at least a roll bar, but if yoru going to do so I think the schroth is your best choice.

They mount to the stock rear seat belt locations and are also reasonably priced.

My seat was adjustable back and forth. It had about the same range as stock power seats.
