I got the award for "Most Consistent Driver"....
My times were:
61.573
57.729
57.705
57.725
57.709
56.826
all clean, no O/C's, and no cones... almost every other driver hit at LEAST one cone on every run....I hit 0.
The only other person in my class? A 99 Maxima SE-L 5spd... stock... with V710's.
We had the EXACT same car, except for tires. He was awesome, and his best time of the day was 54.999. I wasn't too far off the pace, considering he had brand new V710's, and I had Cooper Lifeliner 60K mile street tires with about 25K on them.
He let me run once with his tires on my car.... 53.268... on a fun run.
I think it's obvious what I need to save my money for.
All in all, the car handled beautifully.... a bunch of body roll, a little bit of the tire pressure game trying to cure understeer with more oversteer... and some weak sauce brakes... but other than that, The Lady was well behaved on the track, and everyone, including the course designers and safety stewards, all said, "you just could NOT have gotten a faster time with that car on street tires... that was the only thing holding you back... some of the best driving we've seen from a stock car on street tires."
I had a BLAST. Next one is in 3 weeks, 23rd and 24th, at Rantoul Air Base.

Yes, very consistent and pushing harder on the last run. I'd suggest by not hitting a single cone that you left some time out there not running the shortest distances possible.
Any clue who that '99 was? Results aren't up yet for your event.
