Another Dealer Horror Story in Queens

I just came back from the Nissan Dealer on Northern Blvd in Queens to have my car serviced. After changing my struts over to JIC's, I had them settle in and decided to get a wheel alignment, check my transmission slippage, MAF, etc.

I called the service advisor at 4pm and they didn't even touch my car. Said I had to leave the car overnight to check my transmission and idle problems. I was furious and started complaining to him and he said he call me right back. Got a call back and said that he could not do the wheel alignment because I have coilovers and needed to come back to check the other items. I looked at the mileage when I left the dealer and the car did not move at all. I can't believe this stuff. I immediately called the Manager and complained about my experience and how I left my car there the whole day and told the guy I put on aftermarket struts and nothing was done. He apologized to me and said I would get service first when I come in the next time.

They didn't tell me that they won't fix my car due to the aftermarket struts even though I told him and than they don't touch my car until I called and complained.

Does anyone know where I can get a wheel alignment even though I have JIC's on them in Queens?

Why dont you just go to a mechanic and have them do it for you, i believe most people go through mechanics and not dealers since dealers like to fruck u ova.

The reason why I went to the dealer was for my transmission slippage and MAF/idle problem covered under warranty. Than decided to get my wheels aligned.

Go to the guy that Star Nissan uses. I believe the shop is called Auburndale Tires/Service. Hogan told me to go straight to them as it will be cheaper. Its a little past Utopia Parkway on Northern Blvd.

So can I talk to you directly instead of going to koeppel. I was wondering if I could find someone at Nissan to help me out when I have a problem and such and if you work at Star than that would be the best.

Man........koeppel butt-Fuxxed me really hard when i went to their service center.

i went in to fix a SES problem, they say is volume cut valve, i be dumb and pay them 360 bucks. Light comes on a week after, then they tell me to replace whole ECU for 900.....wtf, i went to local shop, they told me the codes is for volume cut valve, bastards..........
i still get that SES light on and off every now and then.
I got the car from long island since all dealers in queens are crooks, although my experience at star nissan wasn't that bad, but their prices are crazy high due to their "certified" vehicle status.

Now....isn't there any good and honest shop in queens?
i mean, we should all go to 1 and tell them we got referred from maxima.org and maybe get a honest repair........

Bring it to our dealership service center and we will look into it. Any MIL Lamp ? Symptoms ?
As for the alignment, I can recommend many places.
PM for specific information.

Today I went to see Hogan form star Nissan to check SEC light, and high idle problem. He spent a least an hour trying to fix my high idle, he even advanced my timing without asking, but I had regular gas in the car (ping like mother F#$ker). In the end, we got to test drive a new Altima SE-R from the prep center. That is one nice car, sounded nice, drove nice.

i go to a local work shop .. RAJ auto on jericho turnpike open 7 DAYS A WEEK... there great.. and after a few visits there.. im like family... and if you bring your own parts/mods and on sundays they do painting thell put it in for you.. (did my shocks/struts/fstb/rsb/oil[becuase the car was on a lift so might as well] for less than 200$ i bought hte parts online.. and i say 200 cause i dont remember exactly how much and dont want to say too little then be in trouble.. )

and if anybody wants you can come through with me and thell hook you up lovely...

they do everything there.. from tire rotation to... putting in a new engine.. (same model, atleast till i do a 3.5L enigne swap) they dont sell any "performance parts" they put all OEM stuff unless you bring along something you want done...

the MasterMech. RAJ is an honest guy.. there and they show you anything thats wrong (let you look at it not describe it in superduper fancy terms) ... before they do work..

and if you dont like the way something is running thell tune it for you until you like it... they swapped my tires around so many times cause i have a small bend int he rims and i hatted the bumpy feel.. (i gotta get htat fixed , wheel that is)

Wow, wtf! I'm a retard or something...I didn't even realize what I wrote in this thread last month. I'm pretty sure I wanted to say "sounds like Koeppel to me, go to Star Nissan." Koeppel did the same ish once to my dad when he brought the car in. But my dad swears they did work on it...*sigh*

I <3 Star Nissan, tho! I just had my O2 Sensors done there + ECU update recently. Hogan's the ****ing man!
