Warpspeed has 'great people' (as in they are good human beings), but they often take on more business than they can handle. They only have a few people making these parts and are trying to branch out into other car models, too.

They will get your y-pipe to you, but it may take a while if they are busy with other projects. They will always treat you with courtesy and respect, but don't expect speed. Everything is handmade by just a few people so things can get really backed-up. Also, occassionally they can forget about your particular part for a while when they get busy with another project.

Patience is key when dealing with them.

I have ordered 2 y-pipes more then 6 WEEKS ago and keep calling them every day, first they have been closed for a while(welding department) due to the death of someone from family, then they didn't have flanges and now they just tell me that its supposed to come out today every day I call them!!! ..... So tell me how Dallas guy is cool...Not saying anything but its just not right.

Like I said, he's taken on more than he can handle. Ideally he would hire more people or take fewer orders.

I had my problems with them, too. The first cat-back that I got from them did not fit right. I took it to two exhaust shops who said they could never make it fit, the bends were just wrong.

It took a LONG LONG time to get a new one, but he did come through in the end. It was frustrating, but they kept their promise.

I think my y-pipe took about 12-14 days after I ordered it during the summer.

It depends if they have a 'batch' made and waiting or if they are struggling to meet demand.

The good news is the products are always improving. I think the y-pipe I bought from them was like the 5th or 6th version (after they had some trouble with the eBay special flex joints they went back to a traditional, if not improved flex)

Also, I don't think they charge until they ship the item.

I've had a good experience with WS as well. I ordered my Y-pipe 3 years ago and spoke to Dallas many times. He even hooked me up with a test pipe as well as an extension piece for the rear O2 sensor for my 99 Max. Received everything within a few days after speaking to him.

As has been said, Warpspeed is a good group of folks... and exactly that- just regular folks welding up parts to make a living. over the 4th of July weekend, I was up there helping them do an engine swap on one of their 3rd gens. they have two or three people usually doing the fabbing- one welder and one cutting/fitting/stocking parts to keep the welder running. if Dallas isn't shipping stuff up or on the phone of running around buying more materials or doing installs or whatever, he's in there helping as well.

ALL of these guys are out there getting their hands dirty every day.
sometimes they get 3 orders a week and will ship out immediately. sometimes they get 3 orders an hour and the pile of paperwork gets pretty darn thick... unfortunately, I think they work from the top of the pile down- not the bottom of the pile up.

nonetheless, warpspeed are good, honest people. be patient and you'll get your parts. sometimes you're lucky and get them in 3 days, other times you're not lucky and it takes 3 months.

just call them. i THINK its still going on. and to Matt, i know exactly their situation, and how stressful it can be. They said it would ship around tuesday (3 days ago) so im not that worried. I thought it had shipped last week, and if that were the case, id be worried. 3 days is no biggie. The second i get it warpspeed is gonna get a BIG praise post, so yeah, my impatience is my biggest vice, but i can deal. peace

If it's missing a weld, send it back to them. I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with WS stuff. I wouldn't worry about it.

Good for you!

I've been waiting for almost a month now and still no Y pipe.

I didn't start to call them until 2 weeks after my order and since then it seems I'm getting the runaround. I've called at least 2X a week since the initial call and it's been, "it's going out today", every time. I've spoken to Dallas last Thursday and he said to call back the following day to get the tracking #. The most recent call was just earlier today and now they don't know when it's going to be shipped because they don't have one. WTF!

It's OK to inform a customer that it will take longer than anticipated to fulfill
an order but to constantly give false expectations is downright disrespectful.
I've always been nice and patient on the phone with them, and so have they. It's the lies that eat me.
