Complaints about non-nissan dealer solved..maybe
OK I bought my 01 back in may but had to keep bringing it back for repairs multiple times, for warranty work and for stuff that shouldve been done before i took delivery(yeah I know my fault for not checking, they wouldnt let us drive the car more than once because of some stupid crap) Brought it to the Chevy dealer where i got it, and the Nissan dealer down the street(both 50 miles away , closest to where I live) they checked some other things and said they were fine (brakes, tires) i kept hearing a metal/metal griding noise, went to do the rear brakes and found the OE locking lug nuts on and me with no key. $82 to get the lugs off at nissan, i took the back pads off which were worn unevenly down to the metal. the rear tires are also going bald and have been since i got the car. to make a long story short, I have a complaint going with the NYS attorney general's office (it was too late to file for lemon law, plus that has to be the same thing 4 or more times, this was different things 1 or 2 times)
well my quesiton is, Chevy finally called me and offered to put 2 tires on my car and give me $300 of service credit with them for anything i need done
so, awesome, power of the pen
but can i get almost anything done with this or should i decline it and ask for something else??Anybody in dealership service that might give some input- i just dont want crap work done because its at a chevy dealer working on a nissan, or are the procedures similar? Like say i need ignition coils or an MAF, or should i leave that to nissan and have chevy do say, pads/rotors and a coolant flush or somehting to that effect?

What Dealer did you goto??
My car has rarely seen a Nissan dealer. I try to do what I can myself, anything else I take it to my brothers garage.
The only reason I would take my car to a Nissan dealer is for a TSB

! haha, i called back and said i wasnt satisfied with that and needed to reimbursed for other things as well... so i'm going down later today to get four new tires put on and the money for the lug nuts i had to have changed as well as some other things refunded, and my original deposit back that they promised and never returned which made my credit card go over its limit &!@$ Dealer!
