Light Wurkz

just wondering if anyone has worked with this company before. The work on their website looks pretty nice.
I'm thinking about using them to install some DDE's and doing the AE mod. Was quoted appx $350 for the whole thing. How is their work? Any insight is appreciated/experiences (good and bad) are appreciated.
thanks

They do great work. If you look on hidplanet.com you can see a lot more of their work in the forums. I was going to have them do a retro for me before I ended up getting my new Infiniti.

You could do it yourself but if you don't trust yourself then give them the work.

I was thinking about that but wanted to see if anyone else has worked with them. Since they are slow returning my email I'll probably go ahead with the AE mod this weekend. DDE's maybe next year.

I notice you guys are talking about our company and I see there some negative feedbacks. First of all why do you think the company is bad? We work with retro projects and other custom modifications. If you can do the project your self then go head and do it. But the is no way you can do for example headlights housings in the same color as your vehicle. You will have to go to paint shop then mail them to some one to do your Projectors and then wait for angel eyes install them your self not to mention that they are fraudulent and can brake during the installation. And after all that hard work you still will not have a warranty against condensation
.
I’m sure you will notice the difference if you will have your taillights or headlights painted by us, it will last you from 5-10 years depending on the treatment. This is with a Standox paint and for those who are familiar with this paint it is the highest quality European Automotive paint. You guys can do a test your self, have your friend paint his lights with spray can or he can apply overlays. and see for how long will it last

For the Angel Eyes we work with Umnitza and we only use his products because they are the most reliable Angel Eyes on the market.

For those who are complaining about high prices you can do the project your self but if you want to have the lights done the right way we here to help you out. We are the only company that does water tests if headlights have to be taken apart. To make sure you will get problem free products.

And if you still think our name is bad we won’t be doing 20-30 sets per week. You pay for what you get. And for us most of the customers we work with go for the quality not the prices.

For those who still need more info you can get a hold of us @ www.lightwurkz.net

Besides flaming the name I don't think anyone was dissing the company.

I know personally I was just looking for feedback from anyone who has worked with you in the past. I like references considering how much money I'd be spending. I think the comments might have been taken as attacks but weren't intended that way. Anyhow for what its worth whatever you may have been offended by didn't sway my decision one way or another. The work on your site looks good but I was looking for first hand accounts of working with you guys.

Lightwurkz does a REALLY good job. Im currently waiting on Blacking out my headlight housing and installing strobes. They also cleared out my tail lights (removed that ugly orange). Regarding the quality of work they do, its worth every penny! Highly suggest working with them.

Thats what I was looking for. So how long have you been waiting Reket?
Is this a one day type of deal or does it take a couple days, weeks?

My cars a daily driver so the longest I could be w/o is a couple hours. I figured I'd spend a few hours down in SF while they work on it.

I got my car painted and I took out the headlights while it was in the shop. I told him he had as much time as he needed and for him to do it right without rushing and he finished it within a week. He's a cool guy to deal with!

But everyone i know that has the unitza DDEs has had a problem with them in the winter. any word on wether they have adressed that problem or if anyone on here had that problem at all. Those are gonna give you a problem in New york.... They have major problems with cold weather start up, Also these rings are too damn delicate and with all those pot holes in new york eventually ur gonna crack one and it works just like a halogen overhead lamp if impacted hard enough itll blow ... i have a set that i paid 150 for on the umnitza website and i too live in New york and decided not to go forth with the install so if u need a back up i will give you those for 100 flat new in the box just so u have a back up because trust me u will need them... sad that u have to void the headlight warranty to get in there and install these rings and they end up being so damn delicate.
