Clay bars rock!

Well after about a year of reading about the amazing clay bars I decided to buy one and try it out. My plan was to attack my 94 Dakota and if I liked the results then move onto the Max. Well yesterday since I had the day off (work for a big bank) J did not need the car so I took her to work and spent about 8 hours total (including beverages and admiration of the work) on the Max. Simply put: The clay bars rock! Thanks for all of the advice! The paint is smoother looks better on the car than the day the dealer detailed it! I used the Mother's bar and detailer. I then applied a coat of Liquid Glass to the entire car including the wheels (which I hit with a small piece of clay bar) it looks better than new! I will follow up with some pics of it in front of the house tonight. I also went over the entire interior (vinyl and leather) with 303 protectant and cleaned the floor mats with Simple green.

Picked her up at work and this was her response: "My car looks great honey!" And my response: "Well it better after 8 hours of work!

thanks for all the advice! and I forgot how nice Satin Blue Pearl looks cleaned up in the sun!

When the keys get handed over to me! The deal for us is that she gets the new car and I get the old one. When this one is paid off and she gets a new one it's mine and it will be mod central! My biggest fear of lowering it would be decreasing the ride quality which at times is rough on the ole 17's. But she does love how it handles!
