Clay bars rock!
Clay bars rock!
Well after about a year of reading about the amazing clay bars I decided to buy one and try it out. My plan was to attack my 94 Dakota and if I liked the results then move onto the Max. Well yesterday since I had the day off (work for a big bank) J did not need the car so I took her to work and spent about 8 hours total (including beverages and admiration of the work) on the Max. Simply put: The clay bars rock! Thanks for all of the advice! The paint is smoother looks better on the car than the day the dealer detailed it! I used the Mother's bar and detailer. I then applied a coat of Liquid Glass to the entire car including the wheels (which I hit with a small piece of clay bar) it looks better than new!
I will follow up with some pics of it in front of the house tonight. I also went over the entire interior (vinyl and leather) with 303 protectant and cleaned the floor mats with Simple green.
Picked her up at work and this was her response: "My car looks great honey!" And my response: "Well it better after 8 hours of work!
thanks for all the advice! and I forgot how nice Satin Blue Pearl looks cleaned up in the sun!
