dont know if im posting this on the right forum
but how do i remove the maxima emblem from my trunk?
blow dryer and dental floss?
and then use adhesive remover to remove the excessive adhesive?
or should i compound it after ward?

Blow dryer and dental floss followed by adhesive remover should do it. That's how everybody I know whose debadged their car has done it. I think everyone on here is partial to 3M adhesive remover

compound = overkill + possible clearcoat damage (IMHO)

I actually took off the adhesive with my bare hands. kills your fingernails. I got some heat guns for sale if you like
