Would it be "gheto" to use the 24V DOHC fender emblems off the SHO on the very front part of the front doors, slighlty above door guards on a Maxima? Its the selver and black emblem from like a 95 (pre bouble shaped SHO)or so.

Being a GLE my handles and trim are silver/chrome also.

I've seen this once, and I thought it looked nice. The car is near mint with no other stickers or anying. I try to keep with good tastes and style. Now that I have these emblems, I could put them on with 3M emblem tape that can be taken back off without hurting the car.

However, would I look like a SHO wana-be? Or a ricer euro car in your opinions? The front fendor behind the wheels to the doors...this area has a lot of empty space that looks like its missing something, and I figured because the Maxima is 24V DOHC, why not?

Honest replies welcome.

I follow the less is better school, so I would say do without. But if you think it looks good, then try putting it on with a bit of putty first. Then if you don't like it you can take it off, and no harm done.

IMHO, leave it off.

I am with Lordrandall here. But, if you like it, go for it. It is your car .

the DOCH is in white like the car, and again the chrome would match. So what about a reply to:

"However, would I look like a SHO wana-be? "

Maybe I will stick them on, take some pictures and let you guys decide. Should come back off without a problem. I just wanted some opinions. Thanks guys.

hmm

get teh one taht says "v-tech dohc"j/p
if u knwo how, make it magnetic. iv'e seen it done.. i think u can get magnetic strips (flexible) at the hardware stores. that way u can put it on and take it off when ever. just use 3m double sided adhesive material to stick the emblem onto the magnet. it shouldn't fall. but don't slide the thing around or else u'll scratch the car.
