Clay Bar
Hey BM84,
the best? really would a matter of opinion and what brand of bar each of us are comparing it to.
I use Mothers Clay bar, goood for about 3-4 avg sized cars. I've used my 3 times before throwing it out. I've used mothers claybar since I got my car and haven't tried other yet.
I believe a couple of .Orgers use Clay Magic, Pinnicle, Zaino (to name a few)..

Good luck with whatever you use, you'll love the baby bottom smoothness..

I've used Griot's garage clay and I'm happy with the results. It made a huge difference in the finish. You can purchase the clay independently of the other products
I have used Mothers, Meguiar's, and Clay Magic. I have loved using the Clay Magic.
By the way, you can get the 200gm size of Clay Magic without the lube at http://www.autobodydepot.net/scripts...sid=0521101231 or check this out: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/detailingclay.html

I've used Mothers, Maguires and Zaino. The Mothers and Zaino are great. The Maguires that I used was very sticky and left a lot of residue behind.
The clay bar is generally good for 3 full uses. Just ensure that you keep the paint well lubricated and keep molding the clay so that the contaminants are inside and not on the outside of the clay that is touching your paint. The results after using the clay bar are worth the effort.
