Wet Sand

Ay guys, I posted about this before, but it's been deleted after all the work being done and put into the site. Anyway, what exactly is "wet sanding" Like what consists of doing it? Reason I ask is because my pinstripes are painted on, not stickers. They are over the clearcoat however, and my fried was tellin me to just wet sand them. If I were to bring it to a detailing shop, you think they would be able to get them off with no problem. If yes, can anybody from NJ/NY refer me to a place. Thanks alot.

Yeah you can do that. You had better make damn sure you know what you are doing. Looks like from your posts, you should be hiring a professional for this. A screw up here will cost alot of $
