i was just wondering, i got my 6th gen in July and so far i've only polished her, using mother's polish, i was just wondering what other polishes and waxes you guys are using on your 6th gen's, and which ones give the best results

 

Since your car is new, go with something very gentle, and don't forget to wax after you polish.

To deepen the shine, I recommend Sonus Paintwork Cleanser. It's super gentle and really enhances the gloss. I use it as a fine polish just to enhance the shine, and it's perfect. Its a lotion, and smells really good too.

For wax, go with something natural. Meg's #16 is old-school, but has an amazing, warm shine. It doesn't have any synthetics in it, which is key for a newer paint job, though opinions differ on that.

Only polish?

The finish looks amazing considering you're just using a polish. I've been using Meguiars deep crystal polish and started with Gold Class wax and now using NXT wax. I've posted about image reflective clarity issues with not much response on this site. It appears that the reflections from polishing look pretty sharp on your Smoke painted Max, whereas images when close up after using the Meguiars appears on my car to be a little blurred.
