Please post these types of questions in the Detailing section. You can get them at discount auto parts.

You specifically want Mother's clay bar? There are a bunch of people who make them and you can find them at all the places mentioned...I get mine at Pep Boys.

Then you did something wrong (probably) or your car was already so clean it didn't need it (unlikely).

Yeah, the water is really cold here but I wore some thick rubber gloves and did not get much water on my hands. I would think that you'd be warmer down there. I'll try that clay bar in the near future. The weather channel says that it's in the low 50's here but it feels colder than that to me. Warmer days a right around the corner bro.

I heard that it snowed in Texas. I was in New Orleans over the weekend and there was sleet there yesterday right before I left. If it snowed much around here, the interstate would become a junkyard.

Ya, it snowed here in Dallas on Wednesday about 1-2 inches and then the Corpous Christi/Houston area got anywhere between 6 and 12 inches on Christmas Eve.

Sounds good. You have tons of time to get your Max in showroom condition. Would love to see the pics when you're finished.

Actually I have a second car and don't have the time to do it. I have a six year old son and trust he takes most of my time when I'm home. I rather gave him all of my time than to the car......... I like my car but I love my son......
