Yeah, I wanna wax my car, it needs it! It's so cold down in NJ and my garage currently has a crap load of furniture in it cause we just bought another house in NC...maybe I should take a road trip down there and wax it! Seems like a good enough reason! HAHA

Don't just start buffing with any old buffer. Make sure its a random orbit buffer or you will burn your paint up if you don't have the skill for a rotary one.

You beat me to posting about waxing my car but it looks good. My neighbors say I wax my car too much but I like the results of what it does.

That is one pretty wax job! Your car looks spotless! I've been using the Maguiar's NXT gen polish on mine since it came out. The shine it puts on is like none other I ever had. The stuff lasts too, which is a concern many had when it came out. It has lasted through a nasty salt-filled winter here in Pennsylvania. A while ago I needed my hood buffed out because of the chips all over it. I touched up as many spots as I could. Then my neighbor and I wet sanded the surface and he used his buffer brought home from work and buffed it all out. It was an amazing difference. Some here said it wouldn't come out right and I should just get the hood repainted. Glad I didn't listen to them! Any way, after all my ramblings, you have a beautifully clean Max, my friend.

Yeah thanks, I am well aware of the types as I used to buff floors. My car has been sitting in the sun and it looks like the Japanese only put about a ten year paint job on the nissan.

Thanks all.
ones wondering what buffer it was: I used a single-handed rotary buffer from Turtle Wax along with it's paste. I got the whole kit for around $30 at Home Depot.

The OM sign is a personal touch, I just need to re-design it with a better vinyl. Glad you like it.

I hope you knew what you were doing with that rotary buffer! It could look really great b/c whatever damage you "might" have caused is well concealed right now by the use of fillers in the wax. Only time will tell once the wax wears away if your burned anything. I hope it goes your way though! get a PC- Its safer

That NXT is expensive. I just bought some Dupont stuff for about five bux. There was some marine wax for 2 bux but I thought it might be harder to do by hand.
